ABC’S OF STARTING YOUR BUSINESS TO BE HELD ON MARCH 14 AT CVWBC

PALM DESERT, Calif. – The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will host a workshop on Wednesday, March 15, to help people who are considering launching a new business.

“The ABCs of Starting Your Own Business” is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the center’s office, 77-806 Flora Road, Suite A, off Washington and the 10 freeway in Palm Desert.

The free workshop will be an interactive discussion on the role an entrepreneur takes in starting a business.

Participants will receive contact information for the myriad of government and business entities that are part of the start-up process. The workshop will also provide information about available funding sources for local existing and aspiring small business owners.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.

The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
