Perris, CA – Thomas the Tank Engine is chugging into a station near you for a Day Out With Thomas™. One of the most beloved children’s characters returns to the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, CA on November 5 and 6 and November 11, 12 and 13, 2011.  Children can take a 25-minute ride with a full-size Thomas the Tank Engine and meet Sir Topham Hatt, Superintendent of the Railroad. Enjoy several hours of family fun with Thomas and all his friends — storytelling, videos, hands-on arts and crafts, an Imagination Station, petting zoo, live music and much more.

With an annual attendance of 30,000 and a staff of 200 volunteers, Day Out with Thomas™ is the biggest annual fundraiser for the museum, which has the largest repository of railway history for the counties of San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego. Tickets are $18 for ages two and up.  Advanced ticket purchase is recommended and discounts are available through September 1.
