Colonial Fair Comes to Riley’s Farm
Oak Glen, CA – Beginning July 1, 2017, Oak Glen will be transformed back to New England in the 1800’s. Attendees will be able to participate in interactive dramatic presentations, swordplay demonstrations and duels of honor, along with music and theatre.
There will be old-fashioned games, hands-on activities and colonial crafts like candle dipping and weaving, along with classic sports like tomahawk throwing and archery (for ages 8-plus), and unique shopping with local artisans and performers as colonial settlers.
Culinary delights abound in the Hawk’s Head Public House, which serves hearty country comfort cuisine, fine wines, ales, and hard ciders. Riley’s Farm’s famous on-site bakery will craft plenty of five-pound apple pies and seasonal pastries, too!
