WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R-CA) has announced today he is continuing his participation in the bipartisan Balanced Budget Amendment Caucus in an effort to reduce government spending and restore fiscal sanity to the federal government.

“Taxpayers need President Obama and Congress to be held accountable for the wasteful spending of Americans’ hard earned money,” said Congressman McKeon.  “A Constitutional Amendment will make this a reality.

“We cannot allow ourselves to keep increasing the already $14.2 trillion national debt.  If American families balance their own household budgets, the federal government should be held responsible for balancing their budget too.”
