Student-Organized Golf Tournament will Host an Event to Raise Money for CSUSB Sports and Entertainment Marketing Scholarship Fund at Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside

San Bernardino, CA – The Advanced Sports and Entertainment Marketing class at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) will hold the 11th Annual Spring Classic Golf Tournament on June 11^th, 2018. The event will be held at the pristine Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside, CA.  The funds from this event will support the development of a permanent scholarship fund for students within the CSUSB Sports & Entertainment Marketing Program.

The Spring Classic Golf Tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1pm.  The cost for a single golfer is $200, $375 for a twosome, and $700 for a foursome.  The price of each ticket is ticket also includes a dri-fit polo shirt-

The Canyon Crest Country Club is conveniently located in Riverside.  With palm trees, a beautiful 50-foot fountain, and views of the mountains, this is will be an event to remember.  The Staff at Canyon Crest Country Club are devoted to providing the best possible service with a setting perfect for creating a memorable occasion for friends and family.

This annual event provides needed scholarship funds to students with outstanding academic achievements within the Sports and Entertainment Marketing program to further their education.  It also provides invaluable hands on experience to current students in the Advanced Sports and Entertainment Marketing class.  These students organize all aspects of the tournament including choosing a location, finding donors, promoting, and managing the event.

The Advanced Sports and Entertainment Marketing class will also be teaming up with the Inland Empire 66ers, a minor league baseball team, to host a game.  The Inland Empire 66ers will be playing the Lake Elsinore Storm on Thursday, June 7^th, at San Manuel Stadium.  The game starts at 7:05 p.m. and the tickets cost $12.
