PALM DESERT, Calif. – On May 31st from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Citi Bank and CVWBC will honor the 2011-2012 graduating groups of the “It’s Your Time: An Entrepreneurial Training Series for Women”.

“It’s Your Time” is a long-standing collaboration between Citi Bank and the Coachella Valley and Inland Empire Women’s Business Centers, and is a rigorous training program that has yielded many successful businesses, contributing to the economic growth in the Coachella Valley and Inland Empire. In the course of the program, women are required to fulfill requirements that include taking a series of business-related workshops, receiving business counseling, and writing a business plan.

The graduation will include representation from Citi Bank, including Ramón Beltré, Citi Bank Senior Vice President, Area Director, East Inland Empire, and Bill Zwierankin, Branch Manager, Palm Desert. In addition, the CVWBC director and staff will be present, and past participants of the program are encouraged to attend.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.

The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
