RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Habitat for Humanity Riverside is excited to announce its second Over the Edge fundraising event. Registration is now open and the few, brave, and adventurous people to accept the challenge will have the opportunity to rappel down the face of Riverside’s iconic City Hall. Participants must reach the fundraising minimum of $1,000, to have the opportunity to go Over the Edge! Leading up to the event on July 14th and 15th, participants will receive fundraising support and coaching from a fundraising professional and will set up on their own, peer to peer fundraising page. 100% of the proceeds from this event go toward support for Habitat for Humanity Riverside’s veteran’s programs which include new home ownership, home repair services for current homeowners and supportive services such as financial literacy training, peer to peer counseling, trauma informed art therapy and minor home repair training.

San Bernardino Police Update: City Chief’s go #OverTheEdge
San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan and Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz raised over $6,600 for the #OverTheEdge Habitat for Humanity fundraiser. Chief Burguan lost the fundraising battle by only $15 and had to wear his Class A uniform as he rappelled down the side of Riverside City Hall!
