Fusing Fun & Art
Fusion Friday on September 3
Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to visit the Art Depot Gallery for free Fusion Friday events sponsored by the Fontana Arts program.
Fusion Fridays are held the first Friday of each month from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Art Depot Gallery. At the Gallery, participants will enjoy music, entertainment and live art demonstrations. They may also view the current pieces and exhibits on display at the Gallery.
At the Fusion Friday event on September 3, the public can meet artist Bill Coxon and talk to him about his paintings. Coxon is a self-taught artist that has mastered several art forms such as water color, pastel and chalk art, but prefers using mixed-medium acrylic painting. His work has shown internationally in Japan, Micronesia and other countries; as well as locally at Cruise Night events and the Fontana Arts Festival. Coxon also teaches art classes in acrylic painting for beginners at the Art Depot Gallery on Saturdays.
Fusion Fridays are free to the public and provide families, friends and individuals with an interesting and exciting opportunity to share their appreciation of art. Upcoming Fusion Friday events will be held on September 3, October 1 and December 3. However, the public is encouraged to stop by the Art Depot Gallery, located at 16822 Spring Street, Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to view the amazing art on display.
