Wonderland Event at the Chino Hills Branch Library

 The San Bernardino County Library invites residents to go a little mad at the Wonderland event at the Chino Hills James S. Thalman Branch Library. Visitors can enjoy an amazing experience as they get the chance to meet and greet Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts. Don’t forget to take photos. Enjoy a variety of fun-filled crafts, face painting, a balloon artist, and more. 

This event is another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read. The Wonderland event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 24 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Hungarian pianist Éva Polgár is a renowned performer of traditional and contemporary music. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and recording artist in Hungary, Germany, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Colombia, and the United States. Recent performances have included concerto appearances with conductors Tamás Vásáry at the Budapest Danube Palace and Horst Förster at the Leipzig Gewandhaus. A graduate of the Franz Liszt University in Budapest and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Ms. Polgár has won top prizes in competitions including the International Liszt Competition in Los Angeles.

Auto Club Speedway is revvin’ up for one of its top charity events to speed up the cure and treatments for blood cancers.  Once again, the Speedway will host The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Orange County Inland Empire Chapter for their annual Light The Night Walk on October 28.
