Big Bear Lake, Calif. – Paddles and Pedals is a new “Mom-n-Pop” shop opening near the small town of Fawnskin on the North Shore of Big Bear Lake. Visitors can rent bicycles, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and pedal boats all in one convenient location. The shop sits along side the west end of the Alpine Pedal Path and has beach access, making it easy for guests to fill their day with both biking and paddling.

Bryan and Jamiee Smith, owners and operators of Paddles and Pedals, have lived in the Big Bear Valley for 15 years and have worked in the Mountain Lifestyle industry just a long. Bryan is an avid mountain biker and Jamiee enjoys floating around on the lake with their children. “When we decided to open our own rental shop it made sense to combine our passions for the outdoors” said Bryan, “Southern Californians are always looking for new adventures and we wanted to be able to provide a fun service for visitors from all over”.

The shop is open seven days a week from 9:00am to 6:00 p.m.
