COACHELLA VALLEY WOMEN’S BUSINESS CENTER PRESENTS FINAL INSTALLMENT IN THREE PART SOCIAL MEDIA SERIES

PALM DESERT, Calif. – Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center, a grant-funded program of the U.S. Small Business Administration that provides free business counseling, free and low-cost workshops and events, and mentoring will present part three in a series on social media on Tuesday, June 19.

This final installment in the series takes place at the CVWBC office at 77806 Flora Road, Suite A, just off the 10 freeway in Palm Desert. The cost for the workshop is $15.

In part three of the series, “How to Twitter: Tweet Your Head Off and Get Traction with Social Media”, participants will learn about Twitter and HootSuite, including how to set up a Twitter account and post that first Tweet, and how to utilize HootSuite to tie together your social media applications for a social media presence that has continuity and flow.

Facilitator Brian Rouley, Vice President of Operations of Rouzell Enterprises, Inc. has worked in corporations as large as Lockheed Martin before starting his own company. His affinity for social media has expanded his expertise from simply solving computer issues to assisting people to set up social media networks.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.

The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
