Divine Hair Design, a beauty salon based in Fontana, CA will be hosting a “Cut-A-Thon” in efforts to raise funds and support for Time for Change Foundation, a nonprofit organization in San Bernardino, CA providing housing and supportive services to homeless women and children.

The event will take place from 1p.m. to 6p.m. on March 19, 2013 at 10550 Sierra Ave Suite B, Fontana, CA 92337. Customers are asked to donate clothes and personal supplies, while minimum suggested donations begin at $10 for haircuts.

Matrix Hair Color, a professional hair and color company, will be supporting the event through monetary donations, gift baskets, and snacks.

“The Divine Hair Design Team and I are excited to be part of this project,” said Laura Diaz, owner of Divine Hair Design, “Supporting Time for Change Foundation is a great way to share our joy of being hairstylists and making a difference in the world.”

Divine Hair Design specializes in color, highlights, women’s, men’s, and kid’s haircuts and hair extensions. They also are known for styling hair and other services such as waxing, Keratin treatment, eyelash extensions, makeup permanent tattoo application, conditioning treatment, and more.

“When people see that you are more than ‘the person who does their hair’ they have something more to talk about when they leave your salon. We know we’ll make a difference because we’ve touched other clients’ hearts and souls by reaching out and helping others who needs us!” said Diaz.
