Posted By Staff

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Ignore those late-night ads about “fixing” your credit and unravel the mysteries of credit reports and scoring at a free workshop, “Understanding Credit Reports and Scores,” on Monday, July 16, at Cal State San Bernardino’s Inland Empire Women’s Business Center.

Since so many new businesses are founded on the personal credit of their owners, it’s imperative for aspiring and new business owners to understand what’s on their credit reports and how their financial habits affect creditworthiness.

The workshop will cover:

  • What’s on a personal credit report and how it gets there
  • How a credit score is calculated
  • Keys to developing good financial habits to improve and maintain credit standing

“Understanding Credit Reports and Scores” will be held on Monday, July 16, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the center’s office, 202 East Airport Drive, Suite 100, in San Bernardino. There is no cost to attend. Space is limited, so register today at or call (909) 890-1242.
