San Bernardino: Office of Business Development workshop focuses on starting a business, funding
SAN BERNARDINO, CA — The City of San Bernardino, Economic Development Agency, Office of Business Development will host a seminar discussing the financial steps needed to start a businesses from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22. The workshop will be held at the Office of Business Development, 201-B N. E Street, Suite 200, in San Bernardino.
The workshop is taught by Carla Ulloa, notary public and a member of CDC Small Business Finance. CDC Small Business Finance is committed to helping small businesses grow throughout California, Arizona and Nevada. Over the past 30 years, CDC has provided more than $8 billion in SBA loans and other funding, resulting in more than 100,000 jobs.
Ulloa’s workshop will focus on issues such as the importance of business credit, legal structure and sources of funding.
Lori Tillery, economic development manager, said, “This workshop will provide lots of valuable information to the local business community. One of the most common requests we get is helping new businesses secure funding.”
