RIVERSIDE, CA – The University of California, Riverside, Department of Dance presents almost like nostalgia by choreographer Kendall Loyer, an evening-length work that explores the fixity and blurring of memory. This movement exploration looks at memories, not as fixed points in history, but as experiences that can be re-embodied and made present in this current moment through the process of remembering. The work is performed by Edgard Areas, Alyssa Burton, Jessica Finkelstein, Kendall Loyer, Jes Mulette, Cydney Watson, Mynesha Whyte and Hannah Zisman.
Kendall Loyer created almost like nostalgia in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Fine Arts degree in Experimental Choreography.
