Yucaipa Valley Christian School District Names 2013-14 Board Members
YUCAIPA, Calif. (Oct. 21, 2013) – Ready to tackle a new school year and new opportunities, Yucaipa Valley Christian School District(YVCSD) welcomes its 2013-14 board members. The 5-member school board will carry out the district’s mission to thoroughly develop the child in his/her spiritual, mental, emotional, social and physical needs through a balanced, Christ-centered, quality education based on the Truth of God’s Word.
This year the board will focus on mission performance, academic standards, governance and operation of the campuses of the district.
“It’s going to be an exciting year,” said Joel Vincent, 2013-14 YVCSD Chairman. “We believe it to be important that YVCSD develop programs, strategies, and methodologies within the context of Biblical principles, producing students with a Christian worldview.”
The district also aims to grow its enrollment by expanding the number of classes available and making tuition affordable through scholarship programs. Several fundraising activities are also planned.

The Yucaipa Valley Christian School District is a non-profit corporation which formed in early 2009 to offer greater financial resourcing to Christian education in the Yucaipa valley. As a campus of Yucaipa Valley Christian School District, the purpose of Yucaipa Christian School (YCS) is to assist each student in discovering and developing their individual uniqueness and talents.
