YUCAIPA, Calif. (Oct. 21, 2013) – Ready to tackle a new school year and new opportunities, Yucaipa Valley Christian School District(YVCSD) welcomes its 2013-14 board members. The 5-member school board will carry out the district’s mission to thoroughly develop the child in his/her spiritual, mental, emotional, social and physical needs through a balanced, Christ-centered, quality education based on the Truth of God’s Word.
This year the board will focus on mission performance, academic standards, governance and operation of the campuses of the district.
“It’s going to be an exciting year,” said Joel Vincent, 2013-14 YVCSD Chairman. “We believe it to be important that YVCSD develop programs, strategies, and methodologies within the context of Biblical principles, producing students with a Christian worldview.”
The district also aims to grow its enrollment by expanding the number of classes available and making tuition affordable through scholarship programs. Several fundraising activities are also planned.
