16th Annual War Dog Event at March Field Air Museum

Riverside, CA, March Field Air Museum presents the 16th Annual War Dog Remembrance Day Event, on Saturday February 20, 2016 at 10:00 am, honoring and remembering our canine heroes and their handlers that served and are currently serving our nation in the military and as first responders. The event is free to the public in the Heritage Courtyard at the March Field Air Museum. The museum is home to the West Coast National War Dog Memorial.

The Guest speaker for the 10AM program will be Deputy Mark Wallace, San Jacinto Poice Department. Remarks will be made by Moreno Valley Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Giba and Riverside City Council Member Mark Soubirous. The event will also feature a demonstration by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department K-9 units following the ceremony. No personal pets are allowed.

Outdoor events are free. Regular museum admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 5 to 11.  March Field Air Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday.
