Time For Change Foundation Received The Community Benefit Honoree Award

Loma Linda University Health Honors Time For Change Foundation At Women’s Health Conference

Just in time for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Loma Linda University Health recognized Time for Change Foundation, a local charitable organization providing various services to women, by naming the organization this year’s Community Benefit Honoree. Each year, Loma Linda University Health selects a community organization that is making dynamic strides in the field of women’s health and honors the organization at their annual Women’s Conference.

Since 2002, Time for Change Foundation has been dedicated to helping homeless women and children achieve self-sufficiency by using a strength-based approach to address their needs. The Foundation’s programs and supportive services help to provide women and their children with the tools necessary to recover from homelessness, drug addiction, family separation, mental and physical abuse, and the effects of incarceration. Through these services, women are taught how to live healthy, fit, successfully productive lives.

“Our goal is to make certain that disenfranchised women in our community have access to healthy lives,” said Kim Carter, Executive Director of Time for Change Foundation. “We truly would like to thank Loma Linda University Health for recognizing Time for Change Foundation as a Community Benefit Honoree.”

Time for Change Foundation’s mission is to empower disenfranchised low income individuals and families by building leadership through evidenced-based programs and housing to create self-sufficiency and thriving communities.
