The 18th Annual Run for the Grizzlies is NOT CANCELLED, the run will go on as scheduled! Be sure to mark your calendars for September 7, 2013 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo invite you to the Run for the Grizzlies NEW HOST LOCATION. The Northwoods Resort & Conference Center will be hosting this years event. They are located at 40650 Village Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA. They will also be offering a special “Run for the Grizzlies” room rate, give them a call at 909-866-3121.
This is a fundraiser supporting the Big Bear Alpine Zoo’s grizzly bears. The event is open to the public, all bikes are welcome. There will be 7 Poker stops that will go around Big Bear Lake, including a stop at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo for visiting the grizzlies. There will be raffles, prizes, a Chapter Challenge, 50/50, vendors, drink and live music, as well as an expanded BBQ venue.
Registration the day of the event is from 9:30 am to 12 pm at Northwoods Resort OR online at www.GrizzlyBikeRun.com.The cost is $25 for rider # 1 and $20 for rider # 2. Registration includes a Poker Run Pin & T-Shirt.
