211 Can Help During Government Shut Down

211 Riverside is ready and willing to help during the government shut down.  211 is a hotline for resources operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  People throughout Riverside County can access it free by dialing the 3 digit phone number, 2-1-1.  People affected by the shut down who are in need of alternate services can talk to a caring 211 operator and find resources for things like emergency food, utility assistance, medical care and many other services.  211 has over 3000 resources.  For help or information, just dial 2-1-1.  You can also call 211 if you’re a veteran and need help or need Food Stamp information or if you have questions about the new Affordable Care Act.
