2nd Annual Technology Rodeo in Corona

TriTech will assist with licensing federal lab technology to create tech businesses

Corona, CA – The TriTech Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the City of Corona are hosting the 2nd Annual Technology Rodeo on November 10 from 1:30 to 5:30 at the Corona City Hall in the Council Chambers.

The event is designed for business owners and entrepreneurs interested in learning about technology, research and development opportunities with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Navy, the Aerospace Federal Funded Research & Development Centers (FFRDC) and the University of California, Riverside.

The Technology Rodeo will showcase technological solutions from the above mentioned organizations as well as other small businesses. A number of technologies will be showcases, after which audience members can ask questions, inspiring high-level networking and collaboration. Mark Mitchell, director, TriTech SBDC, said, “I am enthusiastic about having access to federal laboratory technology for potential licensing with businesses to further regional economic development offered by the Navy, NASA and the Aerospace FFRDC.”

The Riverside Community College District TriTech SBDC is considered as the top performing small business development center in California and ranks among the top five in the nation. It is also the primary technology designated small business development center in California. TriTech has secured over $575 million in access to capital for clients since 2006 and is funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration. This funding allows for TriTech to provide pro bono consulting for high growth and/or high-tech companies.
