I-10/CITRUS AVENUE INTERCHANGE PROJECT

Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council announce a Public Meeting. The I-10/Citrus Avenue Interchange will replace the four-lane Citrus Avenue bridge over the I-10 with a seven-lane bridge.  The project will also widen the bridge over the railroad tracks from three lanes to six lanes and improve on-ramps and off-ramps.  Upgrades will be made at the intersection of Citrus Avenue and Valley Boulevard and other local street improvements will be completed as well

for the I-10/Citrus Avenue Interchange and I-10/Cherry Avenue Interchange projects to be held on March 1, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at Jurupa Hills High School in the Ambrosia Cafeteria located at 10700 Oleander Avenue, Fontana, CA.  The City of Fontana, San Bernardino Associated Governments, the County of San Bernardino, and the State of California Department of Transportation have teamed up to improve these heavily used interchanges.

The I-10/Cherry Avenue Interchange will replace the current five-lane Cherry Avenue bridge over the freeway with an eight-lane bridge from Slover Avenue to Valley Boulevard.  The project also will widen the bridge over the railroad tracks from four lanes to eight lanes and make improvements to on-ramps and off-ramps.  Improvements will be made at the intersection of Cherry Avenue and Slover Avenue, and the intersections of Cherry Avenue and Valley Boulevard.  Other local street improvements will be completed as well.
