“A Celebration from the Heart” to be held Feb. 8

INLAND EMPIRE, Calif. – Yucaipa Christian School (YCS) is hosting “A Celebration from the Heart” gala on Friday, February 8.  The event will be held at Yucaipa Christian Church, 12954 Bryant St starting at 6 pm. The gala will feature dinner, raffles and a silent auction.

This event was established 3 years ago to supplement funding for after-school programs and extra-curricular activities.

“This is a great way for us to connect with the community,” said Jim Cochran, administrator of YCS. “It allows us to strengthen ties in the community and share our mission in a fun environment.”

A portion of the proceeds will also go to YCS’s scholarship program, which allows children to attend the school no matter what set-backs or misfortunes they may have endured and allow them to receive the quality education that they are inherently entitled to.

Local business and community members are invited to support the cause and the event is open to the public. Attendance is $25 for the dinner. The raffle and silent auction are free. To RSVP or for more information, call the school office at (909) 790-9411.
