AGUA CALIENTE CASINO RESORT SPA & SPA RESORT CASINO ANNOUNCES THE PROMOTION OF FOUR STAFFERS
PALM SPRINGS, CA (July 5, 2011) – Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa in Rancho Mirage and Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs have announced the promotion of four key team members.
Brian Hansberry, chief operating officer for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, which owns and operates both casino-resorts, made the announcements today. The promotions include:
- Brad Meier appointed Executive Director of Finance for the Tribe’s Central Operations: Meier has been with the company for 2 years as Property Controller for Spa Resort Casino. He has held numerous positions within the gaming industry, as well as with accounting giant Ernst & Young.
- Bill Duke appointed General Manager, Spa Resort Casino: Duke has been with the company for 9 years, most recently as assistant general manager for Spa Resort Casino.
- Frank Charolla appointed Assistant General Manager, Spa Resort Casino: Charolla was previously property controller at Agua Caliente Casino. He has been with the Agua and Spa properties since 1996.
- Michael Carruthers, Director of Slot Operations, Agua Caliente Casino and Spa Resort Casino: Carruthers, who joined the team in 2004 and previously managed slot operations at Agua, will now oversee slot operations at both casinos.
Hansberry says the promotions show the depth of talent at the Tribe’s properties: “We are so pleased to have such a talented group of team members. I have no doubt they will serve our properties well.”
