PALM SPRINGS, CA – Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa in Rancho Mirage and Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs have announced the promotion of Robin Stone to Executive Director of Human Resources. Additionally, Spa Resort Casino welcomes Director of Human Resources Lisa Palomares, and Director of Marketing and Player Development, Jules Vorndran.
Executive Director of Human Resources Robin Stone will oversee all HR activities at both casino properties, including team member relations, recruiting, and more. She has been with Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa for seven years, having previously served as Director of Team Member Relations, and most recently as Director of Human Resources. Before coming to Agua Caliente, Robin was formerly at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort & Spa for nearly 20 years, 15 of them as the Director of Human Resources.
Director of Human Resources Lisa Palomares joins the team at Spa Resort Casino after having spent seven years in multiple positions within the Spa’s sister properties. She most recently was Director of Human Resources for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians’ Tribal Administration. Previous to that, Lisa spent 20 years in management in the medical field in Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley.
Director of Marketing and Player Development Jules Vorndran comes to Spa Resort Casino with 27 years of experience in the New Jersey gaming market. Vorndran started as an inventory control clerk at Trump Castle in 1985, working his way up through the ranks of Atlantic City casinos, eventually taking on executive management roles, including Executive Director of Player Development for Bally’s Park Place Hotel and Casino, and later, Vice President of Player Development at Tropicana Hotel and Casino. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Casino Marketing at the Tropicana.
