Animal Shelter Hosts Open House/Mixer with Ontario Chamber of Commerce

(Ontario, CA) West End Animal Shelter, established in the 1950’s is a non-profit, no kill center for pet placement and adoption where approximately 200 homeless dogs and cats await placement today. Most animals at the shelter have been surrendered by owners who can no longer keep them for various reasons such as personal or economic, divorce, moving, etc.

West End Shelter for Animals serves all of San Bernardino, Riverside and LA County, and is an Ontario Chamber of Commerce member, and is hosting an Open House/Mixer for the business community on:

• Wednesday, September 14, 2011
• From 5-7p
• Located at: West End Shelter for Animals – 1010 E. Mission Blvd., Ontario
• Admission is free for both Chamber members and non-Chamber members

At the mixer you can:

• Meet shelter staff and volunteers

• Take a short tour of the facility/kennels

• Interact with our 200 homeless dogs & cats awaiting adoption

• Enjoy refreshments on our patio, courtesy of: Impressions Catering, Ontario, Papa John’s Pizza, Ontario, and My Delight Cupcakery, Ontario

• Enter to win prizes

• Discover our many services, including low-cost shot clinics and learn about business sponsorship opportunities

West End Shelter for Animals is a 501 (c) (3) corporation and provides a tax deductable way for businesses like yours to help the shelter financially.  West End Shelter for Animals does not receive funding from any city or county, so no public money comes our way.
