APPLE VALLEY: Family Fun Day at the Victor Valley Museum

Family Fun Day at the Victor Valley Museum

Families will enjoy old-fashioned toys at the Victor Valley Museum on Sunday, May 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This Family Fun Day, designed for families with children ages 5 and above, is included with paid museum admission.

“Today’s kids may not believe that they can have fun without electronics,” said Jolene Redvale, the San Bernardino County Museum’s curator of education. “But for centuries, children have made their own fun using toys and imagination: in fact, they’ve made their own toys, and we’ll do that, too!”

Families will play with a variety of traditional toys and make one to take home.

The Victor Valley Museum is a branch of the San Bernardino County Museum located at 11873 Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 (adult), $4 (senior or military), and $2.50 (student). Children under 5 and San Bernardino County Museum Association members are free. Parking is free. For more information, visit www.sbcountymuseum.org.

The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.
