Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Awarded “A” on Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade

Colton, Ca – Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) has been awarded an “A” for the 2018 Spring Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. This is a national distinction that places ARMC among the safest hospitals in the United States.

The Leapfrog Group, a non-profit organization of employers and health care experts, uses publicly and self-reported data to score hospitals throughout the U.S. The score is a composite of patient safety measures.

“Congratulations to the Arrowhead team for earning this distinction,” said Bill Gilbert, Hospital Director. “ARMC staff work relentlessly in providing quality health care to our community and it is great to see these efforts recognized.”

ARMC has gone up several letter-grades since 2016. The current exceptional grade reflects ARMC’s progress and commitment to developing a culture of continuous quality improvement and safety. ARMC is committed to supporting publicly-reported hospital quality and patient safety information, as it enables consumers to make informed health care choices.

ARMC will continue to look for ways to raise the bar even higher in quality of care and safety efforts. Safety is one of the ways the hospital contributes to the Countywide Vision along with helping to provide for the health and social service needs of our county residents.
