“Art Cruise 29!” on Saturday, July 6, 2019

Twentynine Palms, CA – Saturday, July 6, is the next “Art Cruise 29!” event, which is featured on the first Saturday of each month at several local galleries in Twentynine Palms. The public is invited to visit the exhibitions, meet the artists, and enjoy artistic hospitality. Admission is free to all events.

The 29 Palms Visitor Center and Art Gallery will kick off its new exhibition, “Oh, Those Summer Nights,” with a reception from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. hosted by the city’s Public Arts Advisory Committee. Music will be provided by Hunter and the Wick’d, along with appetizers from Raciti’s Restaurant. The visitor center is located at 73484 29 Palms Hwy at Desert Queen Avenue downtown.

From 3 to 9 p.m., Artomotive Gallery on the corner of 29 Palms Hwy and National Park Drive will have art and refreshments in a comfortable social setting, featuring the photographs, metal art and three-dimensional pieces by Sheliah Bailey and Duane and Stacy Bird this month.

From 5 to 7 p.m., the 29 Palms Art Gallery will celebrate its summer show, featuring original works by their Artists’ Guild members in all three gallery rooms. The opening reception will have tasty bites provided by the artists and music by Vikas Sharma on July 6 at the gallery, 74055 Cottonwood Drive at National Park Drive.

Other activities are available all day at 29 Palms Creative Center and Gallery, which hosts canvas and pottery painting, art parties, and art shopping at 6847 Adobe Road and is open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Glass Outhouse Art Gallery in Wonder Valley is closed for July and August, but will re-open in September.
