The Arts Council of Big Bear Valley proudly announces the eleventh annual Art Festival, Art on the Lake XI, August 21 and 22, at the Marina Resort, 40770 Big Bear Blvd. in Big Bear Lake.
Over fifty artists from throughout Southern California will again exhibit their work at this festival, which has now become an annual tradition in Big Bear. Artists will be inside the “big white tent,” and booths will be set up on the beautiful grounds of the Marina Resort. Artwork will include a variety of mediums, including paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolor, sculptures, jewelry, and photography. The artists themselves will be there to answer questions and explain their works to interested visitors.
Most of the exhibiting artists are from the Southern California Area, many from Big Bear. Some are nationally recognized, award winning artists who make “Art on the Lake” a show not to be missed.
The festival is open from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to 3 PM on Sunday. There will be food and drinks available, catered by the Knickerbocker Mansion, and admission to the event is free.
