Artist Bill Coxon takes Fontana to bold new worlds

Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to visit the Art Depot Gallery and experience “Out There” by Bill Coxon. Coxon has been working on this galactic themed art that is comprised of mixed-medium acrylic for over 6 years. Many pieces incorporate ocean and space, something Coxon explains as “Swimming through nebulas.”

Bill Coxon recognized his artistic ability as a child but became serious with his artwork about 15 years ago. He turned his hobby into a career by entering in shows and competitions and now has his art recognized internationally. Coxon has shown his work all over the Inland Empire including displays at the Fontana Art Festival and Cruise Nights. Moreover, Coxon is currently teaching the Acrylic Painting class at the Fontana Art Depot on Saturdays.

The Art Depot Gallery is to host Coxon’s work from September 7th through September 24th. Coxon will be present on opening day to talk about his artwork. The Gallery is free and open to the public Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Gallery is located in Downtown Fontana, across from the Lewis Library at 16822 Spring Street, alongside the Pacific Electric Trail.
