Artist Charles Bibbs to host an art showcase during Inland Empire Reggae Music and Art Festival
San Bernardino, Calif. — Renowned visual artist Charles Bibbs will host an art showcase during the Inland Empire Reggae Music and Art Festival on May 12, 2012 at the National Orange Show Events Center. The showcase will feature Bibbs’ work, as well as the work of artists from Art 2000, Bibbs’ non-profit visual art association.
A native of Southern California, Bibbs is well-known for his iconic, stylized paintings that fuse African, African-American, and Native American cultural themes.
“We hope to engage our reggae audience with a diverse cultural experience at this festival,” explained promoter Alton Garrett, “Expressive visual art and award-winning Jamaican food fit hand-in-glove with first-rate reggae music .”
