Azul in Palm Springs Welcomes an Ongoing Art Exhibit in the Tradition of Sardi’s and The Brown Derby

WHITEOUT by The iMiJ Factory

Graphic Artist James Cesena pays tribute to the talented performers at Azul in Palm Springs with a special weeklong celebration of this ongoing exhibit.

Palm Springs, CA – The weeklong Labor Day Celebration at Azul begins with special portrait presentations to Bella da Ball (August 28th), Rudy de la Mor (August 29th) and Siobhan Velarde (August 31st) and culminating with The WHITEOUT Extravaganza Party (September 1st)!

On Saturday evening, September 1st, portraits of all the entertainers will be unveiled along with performances by Jersey Shore, Sassy Ross, Marina Mac, Carol Kamenis and Charles Herrera, as well as a few surprises! Hosted by Bella da Ball!

Artist James Cesena created The WHITEOUT project in 2010, as an experiment in graphic art. “Everyone is beautiful in their own unique way. This project became an opportunity for me to capture that through my artistic vision”.

James approached Azul with the idea of turning the restaurant into a modern day Brown Derby, celebrating the fabulous entertainers in his own unique style.

“Back in the day, people would aspire to be ‘on the wall’ at The Brown Derby or Sardi’s” said James, artist/owner of The iMiJ Factory. “What better way to celebrate such talented entertainers while tipping our hats to, and creating, a tradition at the best restaurant and lounge in Palm Springs.”

About The iMiJ Factory:
