“Become a Complete Teacher” Workshop Offered by College of Extended Learning

The College of Extended Learning at California State University, San Bernardino offers a one-day professional development course for instructors entitled, “Teaching Resources to Become a Complete Teacher.”  The instructor is Dr. Robert Rose, author of the book The Complete Teacher.  In over 50 years of teaching, he has developed techniques that teachers can apply to transform their relationships with students and parents.  He provides ideas, concepts, and many free materials gathered from some of the ground-breakers in education today.  Topics will include technology, creating a joyful learning environment, better ways of helping at-risk and special needs students, masterful memory training, and more.  Teachers should dress comfortably for this enjoyable course.

“Teaching Resources to Become a Complete Teacher” will be held on Sat., Oct. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Yasuda Center at Cal State San Bernardino.  The course fee is $140 per person, which includes in-class materials and one unit of continuing education credit.  Advance registration is required by Oct. 15.  Teachers who enroll in two or more eligible education courses at the same time receive a 10 percent discount on each.  To register or request more information, please contact Kristen Reagan at (909) 537- 3990 or visit the web site at http://cel.csusb.edu.
