Big Bear California
Big Bear Lake has a population of 5,000 residence, and is a popular year-round resort destination. With ski resorts, water recreation, hiking, outdoors, rental cabins – Big Bear can regularly swell to over 100,000 people on busy weekends. Big Bear is in San Bernardino County, surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest.
The city of Big Bear Lake is on the south side of the lake, with the unincorporated towns of Fawnskin to the north, Big Bear to the west and Sugarloaf to the southeast.
