Nancy Celeste Walker

Big Bear, CA – The Bear Valley Center for Spiritual Enrichment is presenting a special concert, Saturday, June 12th at 7:30 pm in conjunction with their “Big Bear Experience” weekend retreat at the Evergreen Restaurant in Big Bear Lake.

Local singer, Nancy Celeste Walker, accompanied by Mike Cross “The Piano Man”, and Paul Penardi on drums, will be presenting an evening of positive, uplifting music.  Nancy is calling her program “Positively Yours” and promises that you will leave the event feeling fantastic!  Some of her selections will include: “I Lost the Right to Sing the Blues”, “What a Wonderful World”, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” and many more.

Nancy is a professional jazz singer and has performed in nightclubs and restaurants for over 30 years, including the Westwood Marquis Hotel, Barnaby’s, Manhattan Bar & Grill, and has appeared twice at the Redlands Bowl.  She has also been in several local musical productions for the Community Arts Theatre Society, including playing the role of the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella.  In December of 1999 she was invited to sing at The White House for a private holiday tour for the Secret Service and their families.

“Nancy just shines onstage” is a comment often heard from audience members, and this is a concert not to be missed!
