Birthday Bags 4 Kids to hold “Hidden Treasures” Rummage Sale

Rummage Sale July 8-9, 2011

Redlands, CA:  Birthday Bags 4 Kids, a local non-profit 501C3 charity serving the Inland Empire will hold a “Hidden Treasures” rummage sale, Friday July 8 and Saturday July 9, 2011 from 7 am – 3 pm both days at the Birthday Bags 4 Kids Warehouse at 1200 Arizona Street, Unit B5 in Redlands.  The warehouse is located in the 2ndrow of buildings behind Denny’s and U-Haul off Alabama and Coulston Street, north of Interstate 10, south of Lugonia.

“We are so excited about our quarterly Hidden Treasures Rummage sale fundraising efforts,” said Farquhar. “Proceeds from the sales will go towards creating more Happy Birthday memories for more underprivileged children and their parents right here in the Inland Empire.”

“We received three huge pallets of NEW items donated by Kohl’s for this event,” said Farquhar.  “New sportswear, intimates, hundreds of new items all with retail price tags attached are going to be sold for pennies on the dollar!   We will certainly be the bargain spot in the Inland Empire Friday  July 8 and Saturday July 9, 2011. We’ve got $60 items and are willing to take any reasonable offer.  So come on by!  We’re making deals!”

“Birthday Bags 4 Kids has an amazing partnership with Kohl’s,” said Farquhar.  “Their employees regularly volunteer to assist us and a group of at least a dozen Kohl’s volunteers worked with us the week of June 20th by organizing all the merchandise and getting the warehouse in shape for the Hidden Treasures Rummage Sale.”

Birthday Bags 4 Kids will also have an old-fashioned Lemonade Stand and Cake Pops available at the Rummage Sale.  “Several of the Birthday Bags 4 Kids Board Members’ children will be manning the Lemonade Stand and Cake Pops,” said Farquhar.  “We’re thrilled with the merchandise we have available.  This is not your typical Rummage Sale!  You must see it to believe the quality and quantity of items we have available.”
