Blink Fitness Opens 5th California Gym in Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif. – The feelings toward fitness in Ontario are set to get a lift.

Blink Fitness (Blink), a premium-quality, value-based fitness brand that creates an unmistakable and incomparable Feel Good ExperienceTM, is hosting a grand opening celebration at its newest California location in Ontario on July 26 from 11 a.m. to noon p.m. local time; at 12 p.m. the gym will be open to members. The new gym, which offers monthly memberships starting at $15, is situated at 130 West G St., located directly off of Route 83 and in the same shopping plaza as Rite Aid Pharmacy. This is the fast-growing brand’s fifth gym in the Golden State and 87th gym nationwide.

As it opens its newest location, Blink is linking up with American professional indoor soccer team Ontario Fury. Players from the team, Blink representatives and local dignitaries will take part in a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the gym to the public. Additionally, members will have the chance to receive Blink branded gear, while one lucky member will have the chance to win a one-year membership to the new gym.

“Blink Fitness, Ontario Fury and the Fury Foundation share core values,” said Ontario Fury Community Relations Manager Jolene Ruiz. “The Fury Foundation would like to thank Blink Fitness for donating 50 memberships to be distributed to local recipients. We welcome Blink Fitness to the Ontario community and the Fury Family!”

The Fury Foundation, founded in May 2014 by Bernie and Cynthia Lilavois, is the charitable arm of the Ontario Fury Professional Indoor Soccer Team. Aligning well with Blink’s values, the Fury Foundation’s mission is to help children through educational, health and fitness-based programs.

Blink is a firm believer that exercise isn’t just about looking good, it’s about how it makes members feel. In its commitment to putting MOOD ABOVE MUSCLETM, Blink gyms are brightly lit and feature colors that are scientifically proven to lift moods. Gym-goers are greeted and encouraged by specially trained employees, called Mood LiftersTM.

Personalization is a central aspect to the Blink gym-goer’s experience. Recently, the gym launched a mobile app that empowers and enables members to workout anytime, anywhere through personalized content. The app delivers hundreds of workout videos, as well as guided meditations, healthy recipes and nutrition advice. New members also receive a free personal training session upon joining, helping them to set and achieve customized fitness goals.

The Ontario gym will feature equipment for every fitness level, including cardio machines, strength equipment, dumbbells and state-of-the-art Precor equipment. The Blink gym also offers stretch areas, designated areas for HIIT, body weight circuit training, and more. Certified personal trainers are available for members looking for one-on-one fitness coaching.

“We’re ready to change how folks in Ontario view exercise,” said Pedro Rojas, club manager. “Our gym offers an experience unlike any other – we have made mood, not muscle, the priority. Through our dedicated and professionally trained staff to our uplifting colors, sleek design and clean facility, the Ontario gym will be a healthy neighborhood hub where folks will leave happier than when they came in.”
