Palm Springs, CA –August 21, 2012:  Azul Restaurant and Lounge in downtown Palm Springs is proud to welcome national singing sensation, Brian Scott, back to our Valley on Sunday, Sept 9 at 7pm.  A former local resident, Brian Scott has always been a favorite across the Valley with his hugely popular country voice. After several years of touring, competing, song-writing/recording and starring in ABC’s Karaoke Battle USA, Brian now returns to his old stomping ground for a “not to be missed” one night only performance – Hot Country.

Brian Scott achieved national fame with his beautiful, soulful country music style and has performed all over the USA and overseas including Finland, Ireland and Russia. His background started in acting and musical theatre which then allowed him to pursue his true love of country music. He has written and recorded his own album titled “My Heart Knows” which can be heard on reverbnation.com/brianscottcountry

In 2009, Brian became the top male karaoke champion of New Mexico and competed in the Karaoke World Champion USA National finals in Ohio where he won top male champion. He then went on to place 5th in the Karaoke World Championship in Lathi, Finland.  In 2011, Brian was chosen as the first judge to represent the USA at the KWC finals in Ireland.

Brian’s national karaoke fame landed him a starring role in the recent ABC television show Karaoke Battle USA where he was a judge (Brian “The Cowboy” Scott) along side Carnie Wilson, Joe Levy & host Joey Fatone.

Azul is located in downtown Palm Springs and is considered to be one of the hottest entertainment spots in the Valley featuring local and national performers!
