Builders Industry Association Replaces Signs Kiosks in Eastvale

EASTVALE, CA – At the September 28, 2011 City Council meeting, Council Members voiced unanimous support for the Riverside County Chapter of the Builders Industry Association (BIA) to replace developer sign kiosks throughout the City of Eastvale. The BIA will replace and maintain eleven new, permanent developer sign kiosks and seventy signs at no expense to the City. The new developer sign kiosks will include the official seal of the City of Eastvale and appropriately brand the new city within Western Riverside County. Installation of the new developer sign kiosks has already begun and will be completed shortly. “The signs are being replaced to represent our community. A name change was obviously needed and we wanted to identify our City. City branding is essential to the creation of jobs and the promotion of development in our City. This is the first of several vital steps,” said Eastvale Mayor Adam Rush. The former developer sign kiosks which displayed “Jurupa Valley” at the top have created a significant amount of confusion amongst residents, visitors, and prospective home buyers. The goal of the new developer sign kiosks is to not only minimize the confusion between the two new cities but to also allow for proper branding and identification of the City of Eastvale.
