With more than, 7,200 new students, Cal Poly Pomona currently has 27,913 enrolled students across its eight colleges. Ranked one of the top public undergraduate universities in the west by U.S. News, the university is also one of the most diverse in the country.

Jessica Wagoner, senior associate vice president of Enrollment & Management Services, believes that the university continues to attract a record number of prospective students because of its high quality academic programs.

“Students are especially attracted by our “Learn by Doing” philosophy and how it is embraced by departments throughout campus. There aren’t many other universities where students can manage a campus restaurant, take care of livestock or build a float for the Rose Parade. There are countless more examples on our campus where students get to apply what they’re learning in the classroom to a really unique co-curricular experience, and use it to jumpstart meaningful careers.”
