Eastvale, CA – The City of Eastvale’s first Planning Commission was sworn in at the City Council meeting on January 12, 2011. The Commission will be an integral part of the planning process in Eastvale, reviewing a wide variety of development projects and making recommendations to the City Council on planning issues.
“This is a major milestone in the history of Eastvale,” said City Manager Robert L. Van Nort. “Through their work, the Planning Commission will play a major role in maintaining the high quality of life that our residents desire.”
The Planning Commission includes five members: Joseph Tessari, Fred Valentine, Karen Patel, Michelle Nissen, and William Link. Commission members were selected by the City Council following a citywide call for applicants. The first meeting of the Planning Commission will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. at Rosa Parks Elementary School, 13830 Whispering Hills Drive.
