Palm Desert, Ca – The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center (CVWBC) is now accepting applicants for their next “It’s Your Time”: An Entrepreneurial Training Series for Women (IYT) cohort. The program is funded through a grant from Citi Community Development.
This is CVWBC’s signature program and is designed to help women develop their entrepreneurial abilities by teaching them how to start, grow, and evolve their own profitable and sustainable business. With over 400 participants in the last twelve years, it has been the guiding force behind many of the valley’s successful women-owned businesses.
The program is available to women living in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. In keeping with their commitment to support and encourage female entrepreneurship, the IYT program is being offered at minimal cost with investments ranging from $30 to $130 for the entire three month-long program, depending on income bracket.
Because there is a limit on number of applicants selected to participate, and the program gets filled quickly, serious applicants are encouraged to submit early. In addition, early applicants are able to begin taking the required workshops beginning when the application has been submitted and approved. The deadline for application submission is August 30, 2019. Program details and the application can be viewed and downloaded at the CVWBC website, or for more information call the CVWBC office at (760) 345-9200.
According to Kim Scanlan, Director of the CVWBC, “Our goal is to empower women through entrepreneurship, and this program is instrumental in helping us accomplish that. The transformative power of IYT is incredible!”.
