Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center and Carat Present Free Webinars: Website Development with Suzan Chin and Online Financial Management with Albert Sullivan, CPA

PALM DESERT, Calif. – Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center will present the last in a series of free webinars in collaboration with CARAT this week, one on website development on March 26, and one on Online Financial Management on March 28, both from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

These are webinars, so can be viewed from the comfort of the home or office. There is no cost for the webinar. To register, go to http://carattrainings.eventbrite.com.

On the 26th, participants will learn the best practices of web development, and will gain the building blocks that will assist them to understand and master the emerging technologies. Information regarding web-based applications, social networking platforms, and e-commerce will also be discussed. The facilitator for this webinar is Suzan M. Chin, Vice President and CMO of Creative Raven, a local marketing communications, design, and production firm.

On the 28th, the material covered will include everything from how to keep cash flow vital, to what tools are available to assist in managing finances (including popular accounting software), to basic bookkeeping principles. The facilitator for that webinar will be Albert Sullivan, CPA.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only. The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for, but not limited to, women business owners.
