Corona: 2017 Clear The Animal Shelter Event

Corona Clear Animals and pets

Corona, CA – The City of Corona Animal Shelter is partnering with nearly 700 animal shelters across the country for the NBC4 and Telemundo52 Clear the Shelters event to be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017.

Clear the Shelters was created to help address the overcrowding of animal shelters and raise awareness about the benefits of adopting from a local animal shelter. Last year, the Corona Animal Shelter helped 52 animals find new homes in just one day! Across the country, over 50,000 pets found their forever homes during the 2016 Clear the Shelters event.

Please take part in making this year’s event a successful one by adopting a homeless pet and giving it a forever home. All adoptions at the Corona Animal Shelter will be $20, which includes the cost of spay/neuter. Normal dog licensing fees and microchipping fees still apply, if applicable.

You can view photos of animals at the shelter online at www.CoronaCA.gov/Animals. The Corona Animal Shelter is located at 1330 Magnolia Ave, Corona, CA 92879 and is open 6 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
