99.1 KGGI AND WATER OF LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH HOST INAUGURAL COVER THE IECOLLECTION DRIVE TO BENEFIT THE INLAND EMPIRE’S HOMELESS

Riverside, CA – 99.1 KGGI, Riverside’s Hottest Hit Music, and the non-denominational community church Water of Life in Fontana, CA announced the inaugural Cover the IE collection drive taking place on Saturday and Sunday, December 3 and 4. The drive will benefit the homeless in the Inland Empire.

On-air personalities ODM, Evelyn Erives, Freddy Rivera, Qui West and Kid Jay will host a live broadcast from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on December 3 and 4, sharing stories about the community and encouraging listeners to donate gently used business and casual clothing, shoes and accessories as well as blankets and personal hygiene products to local homeless.

“Cover the IE is a community based donation program designed to help the Inland Empire’s homeless and less fortunate improve their quality of life, enhance employability, and restore the dignity for their families,” said KC Morris, Promotions Director and on-air personality for 991.
