PALM DESERT, Calif. – The CARAT webinar, “Social Media for Your Business” is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10. It is part of a larger group of technology-based webinars intended to help people who are considering using social media to help market their businesses.
The webinar is an online workshop, but may be viewed from the center’s office, 77-806 Flora Road, Suite A, off Washington and the 10 freeway in Palm Desert. There is no cost for the workshop.
In this presentation, participants will learn the importance of social networking as an integrated marketing tool for business – including such applications as Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, and LinkedIn, among others.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.
The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.
The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
