CSUSB women’s business center launches an introduction to quickbooks workshop

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will host a workshop on Wednesday, August 24 to help business owners establish their accounting system using QuickBooks accounting software.

“Introduction to QuickBooks” is scheduled from 9 a.m. to Noon at the center’s office, 202 East Airport Drive, Suite 100, just off Hospitality Lane, in San Bernardino. The cost of the workshop is $15 if you preregister online, or $20 at the door.

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the QuickBooks program. The course will cover day-to-day business bookkeeping functions, such as invoicing, purchasing, banking, and much more. Introduction to QuickBooks will be instructed by a La’Vonne Shields from Management Consultants of America.

The Inland Empire Women’sBusinessCenteris a program of the Inland Empire Centerfor Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.

The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only. The center also has a part-time outreach office inCorona, where it meets clients by appointment only on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
