CSUSB Women’s Business Center Launches Marketing Workshop

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.– To help prospective and existing businesses promote themselves and their products, the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will offer a marketing workshop on Wednesday, July 13.

The workshop, “Nothing Happens Until You Market Something,” will be held from 9-11 a.m. at the center’s office,202 East Airport Drive, Suite 100, in San Bernardino. The cost is $15 to pre-register online or $20 at the door.

Tim Sunderland of Gonzo Marketers will lead the interactive discussion. Sharing his insights on developing a marketing strategy, Sunderland will discuss various marketing tools, including branding, advertising, public relations, event marketing and online tools.

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.

The program provides targeted services to Latina business owners – the fastest growing group of women who own businesses in the country – by providing services in English and Spanish.

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only. The center also has a part-time outreach office in Corona.
