CVWBC Presents 3 Part Social Media Series

PALM DESERT, Calif. – Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center, a grant-funded program of the U.S. Small Business Administration that provides free business counseling, free and low-cost workshops and events, and mentoring will present three part series about social media beginning on Wednesday, January 23.

“Social Media – Overview, Facebook, and Media Tools” is scheduled to begin on January 23 at 6:00 p.m. at 77-806 Flora Road, Suite A in Palm Desert, just of Washington and the 10 freeway. Cost for the series is $50 with online registration.

The series will begin with an overview that will include why understanding social media is key to your business, how to craft a social media strategy, how to create community engagement, and much more. The following session will focus on Facebook, and the final session will cover such media tools as Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and Google+.

Instructor for the series is Evy Hanson of Leap Online Marketing, a local web design and online marketing company.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.

The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.
